Volunteer Application          Volunteer Waiver  

Is a Dallas Police Department’s citizen volunteer program. It is your opportunity to work hand-in-hand with officers at the Northeast Division to make a difference in your community.

Volunteer Requirements

• At least 16 years old
•  Agree to a background check
•  Have a valid Texas Driver’s License or Identification Card
•  Never convicted of a felony
•  No Misdemeanor A or B convictions in the last 5 years or a DWI conviction in the last 10 years
•  Complete a 2 hour volunteer training class (Additional training may be needed for certain positions)
•  Commit to 4 hours of volunteer service each month
